As you might have guessed, I'm Demi.
After graduating from Utrecht University with a BA in Celtic Languages and Culture, I continued my studies with the masters programme Translation Studies.
Demi and the CATs was founded in 2022, shortly after I finished my internship in translation project management.
I am specialised in both board game translation and video game translation. Both board games and video games remain an important aspect of my personal interests, meaning I have plenty of practical knowledge on both subject matters.

ABOUT
The name Demi and the CATs was inspired by the Swedish colleagues at my internship, who always happily greeted both me and the cat images I sent along in my emails.
As I work with CAT tools (mainly SDL Trados) and absolutely love cats, Demi and the CATs was coined. My two furry colleagues Saga and Loki make up the cat-aspect of the team.
