After graduating from Utrecht University with a BA in Celtic Languages and Culture in 2021, I continued my studies with the masters programme Translation Studies.
Demi and the CATs was founded in 2022, shortly after I finished my internship in translation project management.
Translation is not my only expertise: I specialized in linguistics during my studies in Celtic. I also have prior experience in both game localization and the board game business. The more unconventional the project, the better!
ABOUT
The name Demi and the CATs was inspired by the Swedish colleagues at my internship, who always happily greeted both me and the cat images I sent along in my emails.
As I work with CAT tools (mainly SDL Trados) and absolutely love cats, Demi and the CATs was coined. Actually, I work with CATs and cats: my two furry colleagues Saga and Loki are part of the team.
